After graduating from the University of Texas, Jose attempted to tackle his student loans using a combination of spreadsheets and calculators to no avail. This was the inspiration to start GradJoy.

Before GradJoy, Jose was the Co-Founder and CTO of TeacherTalent, a modern recruiting platform for schools that grew to serve over 100 school districts before being acquired by EBQ.
